The candidate will be a member of Qualcomm's IoT Software Customer Engineering team leading the CE team for the Home and Life segment.

- Drive home & life consumer IEOT designs Review activities, especially in home appliance, cleaning robot, and media product segments.

- Drive Support activities globally especially for China, US, Korea, and Taiwan market where top home & life vendors are located.

- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key partners and customers, understanding their needs, challenges, and feedback and defining business and product solutions working with stakeholders.

Required Skill/experience

- Experience with display interface standards such as DSI/eDP/DP/HDMI.

- Professional knowledge of the Android/Linux kernel - Professional in display performance debugging on multi panels.

- Good knowledge of Linux/Android/LXC OS, multi-threads, etc.

- Good knowledge of specific Display architecture like SDM, Rendering etc.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting ability with sufficient tools (e.g., GDB, JTAG-Debugger, ADB etc.).

- Experience with Surfaceflinger/HWC and understanding of the Android Display architecture and display native services and framework, multi-display support, Multi DRM cards. Preferred qualifications

- Prior experience with Qualcomm MSM software platforms is a big plus. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- 5+ years of experience collaborating with global teams and engaging directly with customers

- 3+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

- 3+ years of experience with debugging techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$130,400.00 - $195,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
