Senior AI/ML Architect - GenAI & Python

Location: Richmond, Virginia (On-site)

Employment Type: 12 Months Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Architect or Senior Developer with strong knowledge in building Generative AI solutions. This role requires expertise in Python and hands-on experience with Gen AI projects. Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning is also beneficial for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Gen AI projects using open-source LLMs (e.g., Llama, GPT OSS) and proprietary APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Fine-tune Large Language Models for various tasks using custom datasets.
• Develop prompts for models such as GPT-4, LLAMA2, and Gemini Pro.
• Utilize Python, including Pandas and NumPy, for data analysis and feature engineering.
• Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Apply various machine learning models like SVM, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and Neural Networks.
• Work with NLP techniques including word embeddings, topic modeling, and search functionalities (FAISS, Elastic Search).
• Build and integrate APIs (REST, FastAPI, Flask) for serving models.
• Deploy machine learning models to platforms like Streamlit, HuggingFace Spaces, and Heroku.
• Collaborate within an Agile methodology framework to deliver solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in implementing Gen AI projects.
• Strong Python development and programming skills, with experience in libraries like PyTorch and HuggingFace.
• Expertise in prompting Large Language Models and fine-tuning them.
• Background in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) implementations.
• Experience with various machine learning models and NLP techniques.
• Experience with the application of Deep Learning to various NLP tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and orchestration.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to function in a team environment and in an individual capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and other data tools.
• Familiarity with the Horizon toolset.
• Knowledge of change management processes.
