SAP FS-CD Engineer On-Site

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an SAP FS-CD Engineer On-Site for our premier client in Plano, Texas.

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FS-CD Engineer to join our client, on a long-term contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Financial Services – Collections & Disbursements (FS CD) or SAP FICA, strong development skills in an object-oriented programming language, and experience integrating APIs. This role requires strong communication and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on site environment.

Education and Experience »

• 3+ years experience with SAP FS-CD
• OR strong experience with SAP FICA (acceptable alternative)

Knowledge and Skills:

• Hands-on development experience with:
• APIs
• At least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., ABAP OO, Java, C#, Python, etc.)
• Strong understanding of financial processes within SAP (collections, disbursements, invoicing, payments).
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

 
Nice-to-Have Skills

• SAP ABAP development experience
• Experience in insurance or financial services environments
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environments

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and enhance solutions within SAP FS-CD (or SAP FICA).
• Build and integrate APIs to support business processes and system interactions.
• Perform hands-on development using object-oriented programming.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Support testing, debugging, and troubleshooting across SAP modules.
• Provide documentation and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Ensure smooth integration with upstream and downstream systems.
