Role: Sr IT Business Analyst / Systems Requirements Analyst

Engagement Type: Long-Term Consulting Assignment

Work Location: On-Site – 

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Maximum 35 hours/week)

Duration: Up to 2 years (with possible extensions)

Start Date: Upon Notice to Proceed

Mandatory Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

Candidates must meet all of the following:

• 6+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Systems Analyst on enterprise or mission-critical systems

• Proven experience with:

• Workflow-based applications

• Requirements elicitation and documentation

• Business process modeling

• Strong understanding of:

• Databases and data structures

• Application development lifecycles

• System integrations

• Ability to work fully on-site and independently

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Strong Differentiators)

• Experience supporting public-sector or regulated environments

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills

• Experience with large operational or asset-based systems

• Advanced Microsoft Visio proficiency

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid SDLC methodologies

• Prior experience with NYC agencies or large municipal systems

• CBAP, SAFe, or similar professional certification

Work Conditions & Important Notes

• On-site work required (no remote or hybrid options)

• Maximum 35 hours per week

• No overtime, paid holidays, vacation, or sick time
