Summary

Job Summary

This is a developer-focused QA Automation role, not a traditional manual testing position. The candidate will develop automation code using C#, Visual Studio and Selenium WebDriver, while also performing manual testing, API testing, regression, integration and smoke testing.

The role requires strong coding and problem-solving skills, and candidates should be prepared for technical assessments during the interview process.

Key Requirements:

5+ years QA Automation experience.
Strong hands-on C# development.
Strong Visual Studio experience.
Strong Selenium WebDriver experience.
Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks/scripts.
Experience leading and training QA teams in manual and automation testing.
Postman API testing experience.
Manual, automation, smoke, regression and integration testing.
Web services testing.
QA process analysis and documentation.
.NET Entity Framework experience.
MVC/MVP experience.
XML and XSD Schemas experience.
HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
SQL Server and T-SQL.
Visual Studio Git source control.
Agile/Scrum experience.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute automated test scripts using C#, Visual Studio and Selenium WebDriver.
Perform manual testing before automating validated processes.
Develop QA automation frameworks and capabilities.
Create test plans, test cases and test scripts.
Perform smoke, regression, integration and web-services testing.
Validate application requirements and user expectations.
Identify, document and troubleshoot defects.
Analyze QA processes and document QA workflows.
Work closely with developers, DBAs, project managers and business teams.
Support quality throughout the complete SDLC.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities.
Lead/train QA team members and promote QA best practices.

Preferred Skills:

Test Driven Development (TDD).
Telerik toolset.
Web Services and Windows Services.
DevOps / CI/CD.
SSRS and SSIS.
Active Directory authentication.
Experience with legacy systems such as COBOL, CICS and DB2 z/OS.

Important:

Local candidate required.
Candidate must be able to work onsite as required.
Occasional weekend work may be required.
Strong coding ability in C# is mandatory.
Candidate should be prepared for coding and problem-solving assessments.
