D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Architect

We are seeking an experienced D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Architect to lead architecture, development, and performance optimization initiatives across enterprise implementations. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and compliant ERP solutions for Finance and Supply Chain Management within regulated healthcare environments.

The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality delivery, robust integrations, and compliance with US GAAP/IRS and Indian GST/TDS regulations, supporting multi-region deployments across the USA and India.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Development

• Lead technical design and development of D365 F&O customizations, extensions, and enhancements using X++, Power Platform, and extensibility frameworks
• Define scalable data models and system architecture for enterprise ERP solutions
• Design security architecture including roles, segregation of duties (SoD), encryption, and compliance controls

DevOps & Deployment

• Oversee DevOps processes using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, build automation, testing, and deployment strategies across environments
• Ensure release quality and environment governance

Integrations & Performance

• Design and troubleshoot integrations using:
• OData
• Custom services
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Functions
• Batch processing frameworks
• Conduct performance tuning for high-volume transactional workloads (AR/AP, procurement, claims processing)
• Perform code reviews and fit-gap analysis

Data & Migration

• Lead data migration using Data Management Framework (DMF)
• Ensure data quality across master and transactional datasets
• Optimize SQL queries and system performance

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with functional teams, offshore teams, and business stakeholders
• Support PoCs, implementation, and hypercare activities
• Lead pre-sales activities including solutioning, demos, technical proposals, and effort estimation
• Mentor developers and enforce Microsoft best practices

Required Experience

• 8 12 years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years in D365 F&O / AX development
• 3+ years as Technical Architect or Senior Developer
• Experience delivering 3+ full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations
• Experience in multi-country deployments (USA & India)
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum and distributed team environments
