Apple Information Security is responsible for protecting Apple's data in transit and at rest. Apple employees and partners are always moving information from one system to another, or storing it on a server or device. As an Engineer in Apple Information Security, you will:\n* Be designing, developing and deploying robust, scalable services and platforms that enable secure operations across the organization.\n* Stay up-to-date with emerging security research, technologies and methodologies.\n* Have experience performing root cause analysis to identify, understand, and address issues.\n* Support, tune, and perfect Apple's information security products for resiliency in hostile environments.\n* Be a teammate, a leader, a student, and a mentor.\n* Be challenged to work under pressure and with ambiguity.\n* Be adept at shifting directions and priorities.\n* Be detail-oriented and self-motivated.\n* Excellent at multitasking, organizing, and prioritizing complex projects to meet deadlines.\n* Cultivate your network by meeting new colleagues from across the business.\n* Believe that automation, tooling and testing are critical parts of the software lifecycle.

Strong skills in common systems programming languages.\nUnderstanding of operating system fundamentals.\nExperience with framework and daemon development.\nExperience with hardware and/or software development lifecycle processes.\nExperience in continuous development practices (CI/CD, rollback, canaries, feature flags, etc.).\nUnderstanding of the latest configuration management technologies, security issues, and protocols.\nUnderstanding of authentication and authorization frameworks and protocols, e.g. OAuth/OpenID/SAML.\nWorking knowledge of network security and applied cryptography.\nAbility to transition seamlessly to new technologies/frameworks.\nAbility to develop new and innovative applications as well as maintaining existing code.\nAbility to thrive in a self-directed, fast-paced environment, that is highly collaborative and multi-functional.\nAbility to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical people across functional teams.\nAbility to build and maintain strong internal and external collaborative relationships.

Experience in system architecture development, including driver and firmware development.\nExperience with developing and shipping high quality software products on iOS/macOS/tvOS.\nAbility to comprehend hardware specs and schematics.\nProgramming background, in Swift, C, C++ or Objective-C.
