Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Finance Tester to join a long-term implementation and support project. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional testing experience in Oracle ERP Financials, with expertise in validating finance business processes, integrations, reports, and end-to-end testing.

The candidate will work closely with business users, functional consultants, developers, and project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of Oracle ERP Finance solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of QA/Testing experience.
• 5+ years of Oracle ERP Financials testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud Financials or Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules.
• Hands-on experience testing the following modules:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • Purchasing (PO)
  • Expense Management
• Experience creating:
  • Test Plans
  • Test Cases
  • Test Scripts
  • Test Execution Reports
  • Defect Reports
• Strong experience with:
  • Functional Testing
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Regression Testing
  • End-to-End Business Process Testing
• Experience validating:
  • Financial reports
  • Interfaces
  • Data conversions
  • APIs
  • Workflow approvals
• Ability to perform data validation using SQL.
• Experience with Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, or financial reporting validation is preferred.
• Familiarity with defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud implementation or upgrade projects.
• Experience testing integrations with third-party applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle Financial Reporting Studio, FBDI, HDL, or Web Services.
• Prior experience working with public sector or transportation clients is a plus.
• Oracle ERP Cloud Financials Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review business and functional requirements.
• Design and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Validate Oracle Finance business processes across multiple modules.
• Test inbound and outbound interfaces.
• Validate financial reports, conversions, and reconciliations.
• Log, track, and manage defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and functional consultants.
• Support production validation and post-deployment testing.

Required Experience

• Overall IT Experience: 10+ Years
• Oracle ERP Financial Testing: 5+ Years
• Strong understanding of Oracle Financial modules.
• Hybrid work model: 3 Days Onsite in Arlington, VA (Mandatory).
