Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced OpenStack Engineer with strong hands-on experience in 4G/5G RAN/Core environments to support deployment, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and production rollout activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deploy, configure, integrate, and administer OpenStack-based 4G/5G RAN and Core environments.
- Install, configure, and validate compute, storage, and networking infrastructure.
- Perform customer-site implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and production rollouts.
- Support OpenStack upgrades, patching, performance tuning, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and OpenStack-related issues.
- Work directly with customer engineering and operations teams during deployment, testing, acceptance, and production activities.
- Ensure deployed environments meet technical, performance, and operational requirements.
- Automate deployment and operational tasks using Python, Shell, Ansible, or Terraform.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of hands-on OpenStack deployment and administration experience, preferably in 4G/5G RAN/Core environments.
- Strong knowledge of OpenStack components:
  - Nova
  - Neutron
  - Cinder
  - Keystone
  - Glance
  - Horizon
  - Heat
- Strong Linux administration experience with RHEL and/or Ubuntu.
- Good understanding of networking, virtualization, compute, storage, and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on scripting experience with Python and/or Shell.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good customer-facing communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Previous experience in Telecom, 4G/5G, NFV, cloud, or networking environments.
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience with telecom RAN/Core deployment and integration.
- Experience working directly at customer sites and supporting production deployments.
- Understanding of telco cloud/NFV architecture and virtualized network functions (VNFs/CNFs).
