SAP EWM Consultant Location: Remote (EST)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant / Lead with strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementation, configuration, integration, testing, and go-live activities. The ideal candidate should have experience delivering end-to-end SAP EWM implementations, preferably in an S/4HANA environment, and should be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP EWM implementation and rollout projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP EWM solutions.
• Design, configure, test, and implement SAP EWM processes.
• Hands-on configuration of:
• Inbound Processing
• Outbound Processing
• Putaway and Picking
• Packing and Staging
• Replenishment
• Internal Warehouse Movements
• Physical Inventory
• Warehouse Structure and Storage Types
• Handling Units (HU)
• RF/Mobile warehouse processes
• Work with SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM and/or decentralized EWM environments.
• Perform business process mapping, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and functional specifications.
• Work on integration between EWM and SAP ERP/S/4HANA, including MM, SD, PP, QM, and TM.
• Support interfaces such as IDoc, RFC, CIF and other integration mechanisms.
• Coordinate with ABAP/development teams for enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, and workflows.
• Prepare and execute unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Support data migration, cutover planning, mock cutovers, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
• Collaborate with warehouse, supply chain, logistics, business, and technical teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization of EWM processes.
• Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer documents.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on SAP EWM expertise.
• Mandatory: End-to-end SAP EWM implementation experience.
• Experience with at least 1 2 full-cycle EWM implementations.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM / Embedded EWM.
• Strong knowledge of standard EWM warehouse processes.
• Hands-on experience with EWM configuration and solution design.
• Experience with requirements gathering, business process mapping, and fit-gap analysis.
• Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, PP, QM and/or TM.
• Experience with functional specifications and coordination with ABAP teams.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover and go-live.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote/global team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP EWM certification.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with GMP/GxP environments is a plus.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus.
• Knowledge of automated warehouse processes / ASRS is a plus.
• Experience with serialization, 3PL integration, or advanced warehouse automation is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
