Technical Program Manager - II

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Technical Program Manager - II for an Onsite position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a 12-month contract opportunity.

Summary:
This role involves the successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have program management experience in semiconductor, hardware, or consumer electronics, specifically with cameras used in consumer electronics.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget
• Oversee program-level strategic planning, interaction with executive level management, and complex issue resolution
• Manage internal and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and enhancements that meet specified requirements
• Handle project scope definition and management, requirements gathering, time estimating, project schedule development and tracking, and budget management
• Conduct project status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, and customer interaction

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Camera module HW development using NPI process
• Consumer electronics experience
• Optics and mechanical knowledge
• Semiconductor experience
• Project estimating, project scheduling & tracking, customer interaction and management, and implementation planning in large organizations
• Proven people management and team building skills
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
• Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications and products
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
• Experience with the software development lifecycle

Desired skills:

• MBA or other related advanced degree
• PMP or PMI certification

Pay range: up to $81.80 per Hour
