job summary:
Developer to support software upgrade projects on mainframe applications
Supporting analysis, design, development, testing and documentation with minimal oversight.
3-5 year experience with the following:
Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
Mainframe technology - IBM z/OS systems
Proficient in COBOL, TSO, JCL, Easytrieve
Experience with CICS, VSAM, SORT
IMS and MQ skills as nice to have skills
Agile Methodology, JIRA
Able to work in a separate location and time zones from other team members and meet goals
Excellent communication and writing skills
Dedicated team player
