Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright Automation Testing, Functional Testing, and Java. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working at Apple and possess a solid background in both manual and automated testing within enterprise-scale applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.

• Previous Apple experience is mandatory.

• Strong experience in Automation Testing using Playwright.

• Hands-on experience in Functional Testing and Manual Testing.

• Proficiency in Java for automation framework development and test scripting.

• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks.

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Experience with API testing, test case design, defect tracking, and test execution.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Experience using version control tools such as Git.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Java.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications.

• Design and execute manual test cases to validate business requirements.

• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality.

• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on application quality and performance.

• Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to test planning activities.

• Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and QA processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing large-scale enterprise or customer-facing applications.

• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.

• Strong understanding of test automation best practices and quality engineering principles.

Mandatory Requirement

• Candidates must have prior Apple experience.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright Automation, Functional Testing, Manual Testing, and Java is required.
