Job Title: iOS Developer (Java Microservices)

Location: San Leandro CA (client interview In-Person Must) 

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Application Developer with experience in iOS application development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java-based mobile development, mobile application architecture, API integration, and Agile delivery. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing mobile applications while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for iOS platforms.

·       Develop robust and scalable applications using Java and related mobile technologies.

·       Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams.

·       Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

·       Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and responsiveness.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.

·       Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

·       Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.

·       Ensure application security, reliability, and maintainability.

·       Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies and industry trends. 

Required Skills

·       Strong programming experience in Java.

·       Experience in IOS application development using Android SDK.

·       Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.

·       Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit/Volley integration.

·       Knowledge of Android Studio, Gradle, and Git version control.

·       Experience with SQLite/Room Database.

·       Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.

·       Understanding of mobile application security best practices.

Preferred Skills

·       Experience in iOS application development (Swift or Objective-C).

·       Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.

·       Experience with Firebase services.

·       Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

·       Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

·       Experience with mobile app publishing on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
