Summary

Quality Assurance Lead

The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for managing and directing QA efforts on programs, developing QA strategies, test plans, test cases, and metrics, and ensuring software quality assurance in multi-vendor or multi-system integration environments.

Responsibilities

Manage and direct QA efforts on programs
Develop QA strategies, test plans, test cases, and metrics to measure quality and readiness
Perform manual and automation testing
Apply QA processes within Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall development methodologies
Lead QA activities in multi-vendor or multi-system integration environments
Utilize cloud-based SaaS implementations
Work onsite at least one day per week and more frequently as business needs dictate

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Ten (10) years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing roles
Five (5) years of QA leadership experience managing or directing QA efforts on programs
One (1) year of experience with cloud-based SaaS implementations
Two (2) years of experience leading QA activities in multi-vendor or multi-system integration environments
Two (2) years of experience performing manual and automation testing
Two (2) years’ experience developing QA strategies, test plans, test cases, and metrics
One (1) year of experience using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or HP ALM
Two (2) years of experience applying QA processes within Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall development methodologies
Able to work onsite at least one day per week and more frequently as business needs dictate

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
Experience working within government or regulated industries implementing mission-critical systems
Experience with mass transit technology solutions, including fare collection, asset management, or operational analytics systems
Prior experience in public sector, utilities, or transportation
Familiarity with test data management, performance testing, and vendor validation processes
Working knowledge of automation frameworks or tools
Advanced degree or professional certification in Quality Assurance, Project Management, or Agile
