Elcaro’s client is seeking a mid-level Quality Assurance individual to build our test strategy. The opportunity to define our testing strategy across all of our internal applications. Design and develop test plans across multiple platforms. The Senior Quality Assurance will work with the Information Systems team and various business units of the organization to perform the following objectives and responsibilities.
Objectives:
• Define automation framework, design master test plan
• Align QA goals with business outcome • Review test cases/scripts, monitor regression testing providing sign off approval
• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
• Lead, coordinate testing efforts across QA, development, product and other stakeholders • Create, review test cases and provide guidance and best testing practices
• Manage release quality by assessing test results and communicate quality risks
• Test on major devices, platforms and browsers
Responsibilities:
• Design master test plans to determine if automated testing approaches best fit the project goals
• Establish quality benchmarks, documentation guidelines and automation
• Partner with developers, Product managers and other IT groups. Conduct meetings and gather requirements for projects and initiatives
• Be analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and problem-solve across multiple projects
• Monitor Key Performance indicators, test coverage, bug escape rates and pass percentage
• Identify, communicate, and report significant deviations from known processes
• Track bugs, manage defect life cycle, analyze potential business risk
• Focus on driving measurable improvements by deploying process improvements to assigned problems
Required skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
• Relevant experience in analytics and systems development
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience in generating process documentation and reports
• Experience with automated testing tools (Playwright, Selenium)
• Strong presentation skills
• High proficiency with database queries (SQL, Showcase, Salesforce or similar)
* Version control tools (Github), ticketing (JIRA) and documentation tools (Confluence)
Preferred qualifications:
• Ability to create BPMN 2.0 models using LucidChart, or Visio, or comparable
• Experience with any web testing tools (Jenkins, Selenium, Katalon)
• High proficiency in technical writing
• Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, iSeries and/or LegaSuite is a plus
