Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Solution Architect with 15+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens Teamcenter PLM implementations, architecture, configuration, customization, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will lead solution design discussions, create functional and technical design documentation, provide architectural guidance, and support validation activities across Teamcenter deployments.
The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to design scalable Teamcenter solutions while ensuring adherence to PLM best practices, compliance requirements, and quality processes. Strong expertise in Teamcenter server-side development, Active Workspace (AW) configuration/customization, and the ability to quickly understand Quality Management System (QMS) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes is required.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead requirement gathering and solution design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Teamcenter solutions.
- Create and review Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Technical Design Documents (TDDs), and architecture specifications.
- Define Teamcenter architecture, customization strategy, and integration approach.
- Drive design governance and ensure adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
Teamcenter Configuration & Customization
- Provide technical leadership for Teamcenter configuration, customization, and deployment activities.
- Design and implement Teamcenter server-side solutions using ITK, SOA, BMIDE, and related technologies.
- Configure and customize Active Workspace (AW) to meet business requirements.
- Support workflow development, data model design, classifications, forms, and business rules.
- Ensure solution scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization.
Validation & Technical Support
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout implementation and validation cycles.
- Collaborate with QA and validation teams to support testing and compliance requirements.
- Review technical solutions and ensure alignment with validation and regulatory expectations.
- Support root-cause analysis and issue resolution for production and project environments.
Process & Stakeholder Management
- Participate in requirement discussions and drive solution recommendations.
- Support QMS and CAPA process implementation within Teamcenter.
- Partner with business users, SMEs, architects, and development teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Mentor developers and provide technical oversight during project execution.
Required Skills & Experience
Teamcenter Expertise
- 15+ years of IT experience with extensive Siemens Teamcenter PLM experience.
- Strong expertise in Teamcenter architecture, server-side customization, and solution design.

Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter client/server architecture.
- Experience with Teamcenter configuration and custom development.
- Experience designing integrations with ERP, CAD, MES, and other enterprise applications.
- Understanding of system performance tuning and optimization.
- Knowledge of deployment, upgrade, and migration best practices.
Functional Knowledge
- Ability to quickly learn and support:
- Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)
- Change Management Processes
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) best practices
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead design discussions and architecture reviews.
- Experience working in distributed and global teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting regulated industries such as Aerospace, Defense, Medical Devices, or Manufacturing.
- Experience with validation documentation and compliance processes.
- Teamcenter certifications are a plus.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid Teamcenter deployments is preferred.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $50/hour
Pay Range Maximum: $70/hour

A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
