OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled
ServiceNow Integration / Automation Engineer to support enterprise-level implementations across ServiceNow (AVR, CVR, ITSM) and related tooling. This role will focus on designing and implementing integrations, automating workflows, and supporting infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives within a modern DevOps environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement integrations across ServiceNow (ITSM, AVR, CVR) and external systems (e.g., JIRA, defect tracking tools)
- Build and maintain automated workflows for incident, change, and defect management
- Support JIRA integration for defect tracking, routing, and resolution lifecycle
- Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Develop and maintain APIs and integration pipelines between ServiceNow and cloud platforms
- Drive improvements in automation, efficiency, and scalability across IT service management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring system reliability and performance
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow (ITSM required; AVR/CVR preferred)
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations and API development
- Experience with JIRA or other defect tracking tools
- Strong understanding of workflow automation and service management processes
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong scripting or programming experience (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Ability to work in a DevOps or Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting large enterprise or regulated environments
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Experience with ServiceNow platform customization (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, etc.)
- Experience in security, IAM, or risk-based workflows
- Exposure to event-driven architecture or microservices environments

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $69.50 - $73.00/hr.
