Role Overview
We are seeking a Microsoft 365 SharePoint & Power Platform Developer. This role involves supporting organizations through hands-on administration, configuration, development, and sustainment of Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform solutions. The developer will work with process owners and stakeholders to identify user requirements, digitize workflows, and automate business processes. This position is for a contract engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support organizations through hands-on administration, configuration, development, and sustainment of Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform solutions.
- Work with process owners, operational users, analysts, and stakeholders to understand existing workflows and identify opportunities for digitization or automation.
- Administer, configure, and improve SharePoint sites, including lists, libraries, permissions, and other site capabilities.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Power Apps applications to reduce manual forms and fragmented business processes.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, data synchronization, and other repeatable processes.
- Develop integrated solutions combining SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft 365 issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Document configurations, application logic, workflow logic, data structures, and operating procedures.
- Develop user guidance, administrator documentation, and provide knowledge transfer to personnel.
Required Qualifications
Education or Relevant Professional Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or a minimum of five years of directly relevant professional experience. Relevant experience includes at least two of the following: Microsoft SharePoint administration or development, Microsoft Power Apps development, Microsoft Power Automate development, or Microsoft 365 business-process digitization.
Experience:- Demonstrated recent experience developing and deploying Microsoft 365 or Power Platform solutions from requirement identification through deployment.
- Minimum of two years within the last five of hands-on SharePoint administration, configuration, or development, with experience in permissions, information architecture, and site configuration.
- Minimum of two years within the last five of hands-on Microsoft Power Apps development, with experience building multi-screen applications with conditional logic and multiple data sources.
- Minimum of two years within the last five of hands-on Microsoft Power Automate development, building multi-step workflows with features like approvals, conditional branching, or loops.
- Demonstrated experience developing at least one operational solution combining SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate within a single business process.
- Minimum of two years within the last five of business process analysis, translating user requirements into digital workflows.
- Demonstrated experience integrating Microsoft 365 or Power Platform solutions with data sources such as Dataverse, APIs, or SQL.
- Experience applying lifecycle management and configuration practices to SharePoint or Power Platform solutions.
- Minimum of two years within the last five of hands-on troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Experience documenting and transferring solutions for continued operation and maintenance.
