Job Description
The Data Warehouse Analyst is responsible for partnering with business users to gather requirements and design, develop, and implement decision-support solutions that drive data-informed decision-making. This role supports the data warehouse infrastructure by building and maintaining ETL processes, data models, reporting assets, and BI solutions to ensure reliable, accurate, and accessible data across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and business intelligence tools and will be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse components, including ETL processes, database structures, and data views. Validate and monitor data warehouse feeds using automated and manual processes to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity. Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, data catalogs, and system architecture diagrams. Develop and support business intelligence (BI) tools and reporting solutions to meet end-user needs. Provide Level III support for BI and decision-support systems, including troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing system performance. Design, build, and document reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Work with cross-functional teams to enhance existing reporting solutions and develop new analytics capabilities. Execute approved work requests and prioritize tasks based on business needs and project timelines. Support mission-critical applications operating in a 24x7x365 enterprise environment. Maintain accurate activity tracking and time reporting in accordance with IT policies. Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA where applicable. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the data and analytics ecosystem. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field. 2–10 years of relevant professional experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field. Demonstrated experience with one or more business intelligence and data platforms, such as: Snowflake Informatica Power BI Tableau Cognos Strong understanding of: Data warehousing concepts Data modeling ETL/ELT processes Relational databases Strong experience with SQL and data analysis techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses or certifications, such as gaming licenses, if applicable. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Shell. Experience working in highly regulated environments, such as healthcare, gaming, or finance. Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks. Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools. Experience troubleshooting and optimizing data warehouse and BI environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is a Data Warehouse/BI professional with 2–10 years of experience who has strong hands-on knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT, data modeling, data warehousing, and BI/reporting tools. Candidates with experience in Snowflake, Informatica, Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos are strongly preferred.
