Help Desk Technician (Contract)OverviewWe are seeking several Help Desk Technicians to support a large-scale healthcare technology migration project. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level IT professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while assisting with the deployment and setup of hundreds of new workstations across multiple facilities.
Responsibilities- Configure, deploy, and set up desktop computers and workstations.
- Install and connect hardware peripherals such as monitors, keyboards, mice, and printers.
- Assist with workstation rollouts across multiple healthcare locations.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and connectivity issues during deployment.
- Support end users during system transitions and technology upgrades.
- Work closely with a team of technicians under the guidance of project leads.
- Follow project timelines and deployment procedures to ensure a successful technology rollout.
Qualifications- Basic understanding of computer hardware, desktop systems, and peripherals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation for travel between local facilities, if required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
