Position Summary

Our client is looking for a Senior Teamcenter Platform Architect with 10+ years of Teamcenter experience and strong expertise in platform architecture, performance engineering, monitoring, and infrastructure optimization.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale Teamcenter 2-tier, 4-tier, and web architectures, along with Active Workspace, FSC/FMS, Dispatcher, Multi-Site, BMIDE, security, upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, support, and optimize Teamcenter 2-tier, 4-tier, and web-based architectures.

·         Administer and optimize Active Workspace (AWC), Enterprise Tier, and Web Tier environments.

·         Manage FSC/FMS, Dispatcher, and Multi-Site architectures.

·         Configure BMIDE, Teamcenter security, TEM, and Deployment Center.

·         Lead Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, patching, and environment refreshes.

·         Establish performance baselines, SLAs, KPIs, and capacity-planning strategies.

·         Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

·         Analyze performance of critical transactions including login, search, BOM processing, JT visualization, and file downloads.

·         Identify and resolve bottlenecks across application, database, network, and storage layers.

·         Implement and manage Teamcenter Performance Monitor (TPM) and synthetic transaction monitoring.

·         Develop monitoring dashboards using Splunk, Grafana, Power BI, and Nagios.

·         Monitor JMX metrics, application/service health, logs, Dispatcher queues, scheduled jobs, and Multi-Site replication.

·         Perform Oracle database performance tuning, including execution plans, AWR, ASH, and database statistics analysis.

·         Optimize Tomcat, WebSphere, JVMs, and connection pools.

·         Perform Linux and Windows performance diagnostics covering CPU, memory, disk I/O, storage, and network performance.

·         Support High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and load-balancing architectures.

·         Develop operational procedures, runbooks, performance improvement roadmaps, and capacity plans.

Required Skills

·         10+ years of Teamcenter platform experience, with strong architecture and performance engineering expertise.

·         Advanced knowledge of:

·         Strong performance engineering experience, including baselining, load/stress testing, scalability testing, bottleneck analysis, capacity planning, and optimization.

·         Hands-on experience with Teamcenter Performance Monitor (TPM) and enterprise monitoring tools.

·         Strong Oracle SQL performance tuning and AWR/ASH analysis.

·         Experience with Tomcat, WebSphere, JVM, and connection-pool tuning.

·         Strong Linux and Windows performance troubleshooting skills.

·         Experience with Splunk, Grafana, Nagios, Power BI, JMX, and log analysis.

·         Experience supporting HA, DR, and load-balancing environments.

·         Proven experience troubleshooting complex performance issues in enterprise-scale Teamcenter environments.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience supporting large, global Teamcenter Multi-Site deployments.

·         Experience integrating Teamcenter with enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.

·         Knowledge of cloud-hosted Teamcenter environments.

·         Experience developing performance improvement and platform modernization roadmaps.

·         Strong stakeholder communication and executive reporting skills.
