About the Role
AaraTech Inc is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Banking (2-3 Years Experience) to support security operations and protect banking systems, financial applications, and sensitive customer and transaction data. This role focuses on monitoring cyber threats, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, and supporting banking security and compliance requirements. Ideal for early-career cyber security professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts and investigate potential cyber security incidents
Analyze security logs using SIEM tools to identify suspicious activities
Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities
Protect banking applications, financial systems, and customer data
Support incident response, threat detection, and risk mitigation activities
Assist with security audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities
Support identity and access management and security controls
Assist with firewall, endpoint, and network security activities
Maintain security documentation, incident reports, and technical procedures
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related role
Basic understanding of network security and cyber security principles
Familiarity with SIEM, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security, and Vulnerability Management tools
Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
Understanding of common cyber threats, phishing, malware, ransomware, and vulnerabilities
Basic knowledge of incident response and security monitoring
Exposure to AWS or cloud security concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
