**Candidate must be opened to work 2nd shift if needed by Client 3:30 PM - 3:00 AM - The worker would be notified in advance. **

As a Quality Inspector I with Client Thibodaux, you will:
Performs component and system inspection tasks utilizing various inspection methods. Work includes inspecting quality of components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies/or production gages to specifications and prints, and reporting findings for determining corrective and preventive actions.
Support departmental objectives and organizational quality initiatives.
Perform in-process inspections by verifying product specifications through visual, dimensional, and functional evaluations. Communicate required corrections and adjustments to production personnel and leadership.
Approve finished products by confirming compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements through visual, functional, and measurement-based inspections.
Identify nonconforming products, initiate rework requirements, and verify the effectiveness of completed corrective actions.
Document inspection findings and quality results accurately within quality management systems and effectively communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
Inspect components and assemblies for weld quality, fit, finish, dimensional accuracy, and workmanship using standard and specialized inspection tools.
Collect and analyze quality data to support process capability studies, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of welding, fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing processes, as well as completed machine requirements.
Conduct quality investigations to identify root causes of defects and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate quality records and enter inspection results, Qnotes, and related documentation within SAP, JDAAT, and other Client quality systems.
Communicate effectively with production employees, engineers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and drive improvements.
Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
Support the Quality Department and organization by performing additional duties and special assignments as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have at least one of the following:
High School Diploma
National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
GED or Min 3 years of manufacturing work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
Ability to use an overhead crane.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, specifications, and quality standards.
Experience with SAP, JDAAT, JDQC, or similar quality management systems is preferred
Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).
