Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Big Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms. This role involves developing robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and delivering high-performance data solutions that support enterprise analytics and business insights.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and cloud platforms.
  • Build and optimize data warehousing solutions for large-scale data processing.
  • Perform data modeling for data lakes, warehouses, and data marts.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple data sources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data pipeline and performance issues.
  • Optimize Snowflake queries and improve overall system performance.
  • Implement automation for data workflows using CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Conduct unit testing, validation, and monitoring of data pipelines.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to data platform strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Big Data Engineering and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on expertise in Snowflake data warehousing.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Marts).
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and performance tuning.
  • Experience building and managing large-scale data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and orchestration frameworks.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and data engineering best practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
