Job Title: Oracle SCM Cloud Solution Architect (Procurement Focus)
Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE)
Location: Southern California (Remote with occasional travel)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle SCM Cloud Solution Architect with a strong focus on Procurement to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Oracle Fusion SCM solutions. This role will be responsible for defining end-to-end architecture, driving best practices, and ensuring alignment with business objectives across procurement and supply chain functions.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle Procurement Cloud along with a strong understanding of upstream and downstream SCM processes and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle SCM Cloud with focus on Procurement.
Design and implement solutions across key modules:
Procurement (Core)
Sourcing
Supplier Qualification & Supplier Portal
Procurement Contracts
Purchasing & Self-Service Procurement
Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and transformation strategy.
Conduct solution design workshops and architecture reviews.
Define and oversee integration architecture with upstream/downstream systems (Finance, Inventory, Suppliers, 3rd party tools).
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
Lead data migration, data governance, and master data strategy for procurement.
Provide leadership during implementation, testing, and go-live phases.
Drive process optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor functional and technical teams and provide architectural governance.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in Oracle SCM / Procurement solutions.
Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud architecture.
Deep hands-on experience with:
Procurement Cloud (must-have)
Sourcing & Supplier Management
Purchasing & Procurement Contracts
Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle.
Experience in designing end-to-end SCM solutions and integrations.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise implementations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the public sector or higher education environments.
Oracle SCM Cloud certifications are preferred.
Experience with multi-org, multi-ledger, global procurement environments.
