• W2 Contract, 12 Months (Potential for conversion)
• Onsite at Midland, TX
• Primary Shift: 2nd Shift | 7:00 PM 5:30 AM
• Training Shift (First 2-5 months) : 1st Shift | 8:00 AM 6:30 PM
• Plant Schedule: 24/5 operation
• Weekend Availability: Required as needed

• Join a global leader in energy equipment and services as a Quality Control Inspector II (QC2). This role offers an ideal entry-level entry point into industrial quality control, working with a supportive team dedicated to maintaining high standards for onshore pipe products. Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical and dimensional measurements on raw materials, pipes, and fittings using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and pi tapes.
• Operate machinery to perform tensile testing on incoming braid materials and participate in burst/test-to-fail evaluations.
• Conduct visual inspections on coated fittings to identify nicks, dings, surface defects, or handling damage.
• Review and interpret simple technical drawings, blueprints, Certificates of Conformance (COCs), and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
• Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in non-conformance management software (e.g., NCM/Oracle) when products fail to meet design specs.
• Collaborate closely with plant production staff and the Lead QC Inspector to support plant operations and maintain regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must currently reside in the local Midland, TX area.
• Absolute dependability with an outstanding record of punctuality and attendance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; confidence to enforce quality standards and speak up when specs are not met.
• Ability to work 1st shift during the 2 5 month training period and permanently transition to 2nd shift (7:00 PM 5:30 AM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, pi tapes).
• Prior experience reading basic engineering drawings, blueprints, or COA/COC documentation.
• Prior experience with Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) or Quality Management Systems (e.g., Oracle/NCM).
• Military background or experience in oilfield manufacturing/warehouse environments.
