JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer - Undersea Mission Solutions to work from their McLeansville, NC facility. As a systems engineer for Maritime and Strategic Systems, you'll join a cross functional team responsible for the systems engineering, integration, and testing of an ongoing major Program of Record. This program is a multi-disciplined engineering one-of-kind system that provides enhanced Mission capability to our Customer. We need a highly motivated and fast learning Systems Engineer to join our mechanical Hardware Integrated Product Teams (IPT) in support of verification planning and test of deliverable mechanical components of the system.

- MBSE Proficiency (MagicDraw tool) (is a big plus)
- Requirements Management and Development
- System Verification Planning and Development
- System Test Planning and Execution of large scale integrated mechanical systems
- Mechanical background
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
