Job Title: UI Developer React & React Native

Experience: 3 - 8 Years

Location: Riverwoods, IL / Hybrid

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI Developer with strong experience in React.js and React Native to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web and mobile user interfaces. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for front-end development, performance optimization, and delivering seamless user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop responsive and interactive web applications using React.js
Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable code
Ensure application performance, scalability, and responsiveness
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams
Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices
Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews
Optimize applications for maximum speed and usability
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
Hands-on experience with React.js
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, and responsive design
Experience with Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries
Knowledge of React Hooks, Functional Components, and component lifecycle
Experience consuming REST APIs / GraphQL
Familiarity with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of mobile app deployment processes (App Store / Play Store)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with TypeScript
Knowledge of Next.js or other React frameworks
Familiarity with UI libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap, Tailwind)
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Basic understanding of backend technologies (Node.js is a plus)

Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
