Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned General Foreman to lead all electrical field operations on a $50 million higher education development. Overseeing 40-60 electricians, you will drive schedules, quality, and safety from rough-in through final commissioning while partnering closely with project management and other trades on this high-visibility Bay Area project.

Responsibilities;
  • Direct, schedule, and motivate field crews; forecast manpower and material needs
  • Coordinate daily with general contractor, campus officials, and other trades to resolve issues
  • Enforce zero-incident safety culture and strict NEC/Cal-OSHA compliance
  • Oversee QA/QC, review drawings, and implement BIM-driven installation strategies
  • Track production, approve timecards, and report progress to project leadership
  • Mentor foremen and apprentices, fostering continuous skill development

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years supervising large commercial or institutional electrical projects ($20M+)
  • Proven success managing 30+ craftworkers as a General Foreman
  • Expert knowledge of NEC and quality control standards
  • Strong blueprint/BIM literacy and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in fast-paced environments
  • Experience on higher-education or student-housing projects preferred
