Role Overview
The individual will be part of the development team supporting quality engineering for Credit Risk applications and data platforms. Responsibilities include functional testing, automation testing, data validation, defect investigation, and support for application enhancements and regulatory initiatives. The candidate will work closely with business users, developers, and data engineers while leveraging modern AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, testing, and documentation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing, automation testing, and data validation.
- Investigate defects and support application enhancements and regulatory initiatives.
- Collaborate with business users, developers, and data engineers.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, testing, and documentation.
- Analyze data flows, profile data, and conduct ETL and Big Data testing.
- Troubleshoot data quality and integrity issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support production investigations related to data platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in data-centric projects, including data flow analysis, data profiling, ETL, and Big Data testing.
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and distributed data processing frameworks.
- Strong SQL, data analysis, and code analysis skills to troubleshoot data quality issues.
- Understanding of data governance, data lineage, metadata management, and data quality controls in enterprise environments.
- Experience validating complex data pipelines across distributed systems.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development and testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, GenAI-based testing tools).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Tosca, Selenium, or PyTest.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Knowledge of Spark, Unix/Linux, Data Warehousing, scheduling tools (Autosys/Airflow or equivalent), and CI/CD pipelines.
