Shifts Available:- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Days off: Wednesday/Thursday)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Days off: Tuesday/Wednesday)
Position OverviewWe are hiring
Security Operations Dispatchers to support a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) focused on physical building security for a large healthcare-based environment. This role plays a critical part in monitoring security systems, coordinating field response, and ensuring timely handling of incidents across multiple facilities.
This is a
high-visibility, mission-critical role that works closely with security leadership and operational teams.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)- Active TCOLE or TLETS certification (required to be considered)
- 6 months - 1+ year of experience in security operations, dispatch, or access control environments
- Experience working with:
- Access control systems and badging
- Security access points
- CCTV/security cameras (installation, troubleshooting, monitoring)
- Strong verbal communication and multitasking abilities
Core Responsibilities- Monitor alarms and security systems in a 24/7 SOC environment
- CCTV monitoring and security camera troubleshooting
- Conduct security camera surveys
- Manage and support badging systems
- Answer and route calls using an IP-based telephone system
- Dispatch security officers and coordinate with law enforcement using radio systems
- Perform radio and call logging
- Issue, collect, and document incident reports
- Route incident information to appropriate response units
- Ensure timely and effective responses to alarms, incidents, and notifications
- Handle emergency and non-emergency calls from internal staff, vendors, and external authorities
- Process and assess information from multiple systems and respond using proper dispatch protocols
- Support security operations documentation (e.g., officer dispatching, incident reporting)

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
