Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Finance (FI) modules and solid accounting knowledge. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in full-cycle SAP FI implementations, business requirement analysis, system configuration, and post-go-live support.

This role requires strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to design and deliver finance solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and configuration activities in SAP FI/FICO modules.

• Participate in 2–3 full lifecycle implementations of SAP FI modules.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into conceptual and detailed solution designs.

• Perform SAP configuration for FI modules as per business requirements.

• Prepare detailed functional specifications for custom developments.

• Coordinate with technical teams for RICEFW developments.

• Conduct system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.

• Manage transport coordination and support production deployments.

• Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues.

• Create and deliver presentations, documentation, and solution walkthroughs to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10 years of SAP FI experience.

• Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO / FI-CA experience.

• Strong experience in SAP Finance module configuration.

• Good understanding of accounting concepts (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, etc.).

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in business requirement gathering and solution design.

• Experience writing functional specifications for custom development.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

• Experience coordinating transports and supporting production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in high-tech or software industry.

• Experience in SAP FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable).

• MBA (Finance) or CA qualification.

• Exposure to integration with MM, SD, or other SAP modules.
