Summary

Job Title: ServiceNow CMDB Analyst
Description: Seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Specialist to drive the integrity, governance, and compliance of our Configuration Management Database. This role balances strategic framework design with hands-on technical operations to support enterprise IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
CMDB Governance & Compliance: Establish data quality standards, manage user access/security, and remediate ecosystem compliance issues.
Lifecycle & Data Operations: Manage CI definition, relationship mapping, and end-to-end lifecycle operations (archival, retirement, and data quality validation) using ServiceNow Data Manager.
Process Automation: Standardize CMDB onboarding/retirement procedures and build workflow automations using Job Automation Manager.
Quality Assurance & Integrations: Run daily automated QA jobs via Tripwire integration, perform data sanity checks, and conduct application certifications (App Cert).
Reporting & Insights: Deliver weekly governance reports, trend analyses, and comprehensive dashboards on CMDB health and compliance metrics.
Required Experience & Technical Skills
ServiceNow Core: 5+ years of dedicated hands-on experience with the ServiceNow CMDB module, Data Manager, and related applications.
ITSM Framework: 4+ years working within ITIL-based IT Service Management environments.
Automation & Integrations: Proficiency with ServiceNow workflow automation and automated QA/monitoring tools (e.g., Tripwire).
Data Management: Strong foundational knowledge of database concepts, data modeling, and data migration/transformation.
Qualifications & Competencies
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ITIL Foundation or higher.
Key Strengths: Meticulous attention to data integrity, strong stakeholder communication, and analytical problem-solving for complex data relationships
