Position Summary
The Newleaf Platform Administrator supports pharmacy operations through platform configuration, process improvement, reporting, analytics, and user support. This role works closely with pharmacy leadership, cross-functional departments, and the platform vendor to identify business requirements, execute configuration initiatives, and deliver projects that improve pharmacy operations and the patient experience.
The ideal candidate understands pharmacy workflows, can translate operational needs into system solutions, and is comfortable managing reporting, training, vendor coordination, and continuous platform enhancements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand pharmacy operations and workflows to identify, document, and manage platform configuration requirements.
- Serve as a process consultant, helping streamline patient and team experiences while identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Represent pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings, initiatives, and projects.
- Partner with teams across the organization to gather requirements for business analytics, dashboards, reporting, and forecasts.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret platform reports, metrics, and operational forecasts; provide recommendations based on findings.
- Configure and maintain platform features, including automated alerts, templated communications, and customized patient-engagement workflows.
- Coordinate with the platform vendor on customization requirements, enhancement requests, system issues, and project delivery.
- Lead platform-related projects from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, training, and completion.
- Provide initial and ongoing platform training for users, including support for new workflows, features, and process changes.
- Support the user community by documenting bugs, managing enhancement requests, and coordinating resolutions with the platform vendor.
- Continuously collect user feedback and develop recommendations for platform and process improvements.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality due to access to sensitive patient, operational, and business information.
- Follow all applicable Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, private insurance, organizational, and pharmacy regulatory requirements.
- Maintain reliable, consistent attendance and demonstrate flexibility to meet departmental and business needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
- At least four years of pharmacy experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Pharmacy technician certification and active state registration preferred.
- Experience with business process mapping, workflow design, continuous improvement, or process optimization is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy rules, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to prepare routine reports, correspondence, analysis, and recommendations.
- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, prioritize competing needs, and make sound independent decisions.
- Proficiency with business reporting tools, spreadsheets, and pharmacy-related technology systems is preferred.
