Job Title: AI Evangelist (Banking & Payments)

Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days Remote)
Role Summary:
The AI Evangelist is responsible for driving awareness, adoption, and strategic implementation of AI capabilities across banking and payment systems. This role acts as a bridge between business, technology, and leadership teams to identify opportunities, educate stakeholders, and promote the effective use of AI/ML and Generative AI to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and decision-making.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
10 15 years of experience in technology, consulting, or digital transformation roles
3+ years of experience in AI/ML, analytics, or innovation initiatives
Strong exposure to Banking & Payments domain
Experience working with cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field
Mandatory Skills:
Strong understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI concepts
Business and technology alignment skills

Knowledge of banking processes (payments, fraud, compliance)
Analytical thinking and problem-solving

7. Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Adoption
Promote and drive adoption of AI/ML solutions across banking and payment systems
Identify and evaluate AI use cases across payment lifecycle (fraud, reconciliation, KYC/AML)
Support development of AI strategy aligned with business goals
Advocate for GenAI adoption across customer service, operations, and engineering
Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement
Educate business and technical teams on AI capabilities and benefits
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs
Act as a liaison between business, technology, and AI teams
Translate complex AI concepts into business-friendly language
Use Case Discovery & Innovation
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation
Evaluate feasibility, ROI, and impact of AI initiatives
Drive innovation initiatives and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
Stay updated with emerging AI trends and fintech innovations
Collaboration & Execution Support
Work closely with architects, data scientists, and engineers to guide implementation
Support prioritization and roadmap planning for AI initiatives
Assist in defining KPIs and success metrics
Ensure alignment of AI initiatives with compliance and governance
Thought Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Act as an internal AI thought leader and advocate
Share best practices, case studies, and success stories
Drive continuous improvement and adoption of AI solutions
Represent organization in AI forums, client discussions, and innovation programs
Domain Responsibilities (Banking & Payments)
Identify AI opportunities in fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and risk scoring
Enable AI-driven improvements in customer onboarding, KYC/AML processes
Support automation of payment operations and reconciliation workflows
Enhance customer experience through AI-powered chatbots and assistants
