Job Title: SAP Architect
Location: Longview, Texas
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 annually
System One has partnered with a growing nationwide manufacturing company with locations in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, and Oregon that is seeking to add a valued SAP Architect to their technical team. This organization is undergoing SAP implementation and seeking a qualified individual who has experience working with various modules of SAP pertaining to finance, production, quality management, and material management.
This individual will provide technical functional expertise as they continue implementing the SAP system across all sites. The opportunity is a permanent, full-time role allowing remote work with some travel necessary. Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Functional Consultant during business process analysis by participating in interviews, workflow analyses, and facilitating discussions with business users.
- Translate user business requirements into comprehensive functional designs for development, testing, and implementation.
- Identify and communicate risks and issues related to business rules, functional requirements, and specifications. Actively contribute to managing the scope of applications and related changes.
- Participate in the UAT phase and go-live period of the SAP S/4 HANA Implementation project, addressing live system issues by engaging internal and external stakeholders, leading root cause analysis, and assessing upstream and downstream change impacts.
- Support quality assurance efforts through functional test case reviews and contribute to user training by creating training materials.
- Drive continuous process improvements by monitoring and analyzing KPIs, proposing process and system changes, providing scope and cost estimates, and optimizing timelines to enhance quality and business outcomes.
- Additional duties as assigned, based on project needs and organizational requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Advanced or Master’s degree in related field preferred.
- 5-7 years’ experience in software development, computer engineering, or related position. 7+ years’ experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Strong technical computer programming and trouble-shooting skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
