Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Service Catalog Forms
Location : San Francisco, CA
Duration : 6 months
Job Summary:
The ServiceNow Developer will focus on Service Catalog Forms and custom ServiceNow development supporting ITSM processes. This role requires strong hands-on experience configuring and developing ServiceNow solutions aligning with approved designs while collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver scalable reliable and secure ServiceNow implementations.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Technical Competency
- Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Developer implementing Incident Management Problem Management Change Management Knowledge Management or Service Catalog Mobile App Virtual Agent
- Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications in alignment with approved design plans
- Knowledge of unit testing system integration testing performance testing user acceptance testing or client-specific testing
- Experience developing ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript Jelly Web Services XML HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP queries for connecting to Oracle MySQL databases and Active Directory
- Experience creating repeatable processes across development test staging and production environments with high availability
- Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodology
- Basic knowledge of ITIL or industry standards
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with project team members
- Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings such as pre-iteration and retrospectives
Roles & Responsibilities
- Experience with the Service Catalog module and creating custom applications
- Create request forms develop integrations with external systems implement security including Access Control Lists and enhance UI for custom look and feel
- Implement moderate to complex custom widgets and backend scripting
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture modules and functionalities
- Configure Business Rules Client Scripts UI Policies UI Scripts UI Actions UI Pages Script Includes Access Control Lists complex workflows and solution migration to higher environments
- Develop ServiceNow integrations using APIs web services and data imports or exports
- Experience with Workflows SLAs Import Sets and Update Sets
- Create Record Producers and Catalog Items using Variables and Variable Sets
- Schedule jobs events and triggers to meet business needs
- Create transform maps and Import Sets for bulk data uploads
- Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes
- Experience in ServiceNow custom development
- Sound knowledge of computer science fundamentals including data structures algorithms and operating system concepts
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated adaptable optimistic and open to change
- Ability to meet objectives goals and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate moral courage openness and honesty
- Collaborative approach that engages participation of others
- Ability to train business users during and after implementation
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer or Certified System Administrator are preferred
