Position Summary

We are seeking a Data Architect to join our technology team on a contract basis to hire basis. In this role, you will lead the design and buildout of a modern data platform from the ground up. You'll architect scalable solutions to support healthcare analytics, data integration, and interoperability needs across clinical, operational, and business systems.



Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement an enterprise-grade data platform leveraging Snowflake, Azure Cloud, Python.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate them into scalable architecture.

Design robust data models, pipelines, and APIs to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

Lead the setup and administration of Snowflake, including data warehouse performance tuning, security, and automation.

Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards (e.g., HIPAA) and best practices.

Provide strategic guidance on data governance, metadata management, and master data management.

Evaluate and implement tools for data quality, lineage, and cataloging.



Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience building cloud-native data platforms from the ground up.

Expertise with Snowflake architecture and Snowflake DBA responsibilities (performance tuning, security, automation).

Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud.

Healthcare data experience required, including familiarity with EMR/EHR, claims, or population health datasets.

Deep knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL/ELT architecture.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.



Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a value-based care or provider organization.

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS guidelines.

Experience with modern data cataloging, observability, or lineage tools.
