JOB SUMMARY

• We are seeking a Sr GIS Consultant with strong utility and GIS domain expertise to play a techno-functional leadership role in implementing enterprise GIS solutions for Electric/Gas Utilities. The role involves working across a multi-technology landscape including ESRI ArcGIS and ArcFM platforms.
• You will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, architecture definition, design, development, and deployment. You will contribute to high-level design, ensure quality delivery, and support implementation and transition activities.
• You will be part of a collaborative and learning-driven environment where teamwork is encouraged, excellence is recognized, and diversity is valued.
• Candidates should have strong .NET development experience and proven experience leading enterprise IT solutions for utility clients. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience delivering GIS and enterprise applications, with a solid background in modern development technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of enterprise GIS solutions (ArcGIS Enterprise/Online, ArcFM)
• Hands on experience on ArcGIS JS API, Python (ArcPy), and web GIS technologies
• Manage ArcGIS Server administration, performance tuning, and upgrades/migrations
• Drive architecture, integration, and modernization initiatives (Experience Builder, cloud)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and code quality standards
• Ensure geodatabase design, data management, and enterprise system integration

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT with strong exposure to ESRI ArcGIS technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcFM Suite, ArcGIS Server (REST APIs), ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, and mobile solutions
• Strong development experience in .NET (4.8/.NET 6), Angular/React, JavaScript, Python
• Hands-on experience in enterprise GIS application development and integration
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, JIRA, and global delivery models
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize work and deliver within timelines

Good to Have

• Experience in utility domain (Electric/Gas) with large clients
• GIS web development using .NET, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and modern GIS modernization initiatives
