This is John from SLIGO. We have an urgent requirement for Google Cloud Platform Cloud & Generative AI Developer position with our client.
Description
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), conversational AI development, generative AI technologies, and full-stack application development using Python and JavaScript. Team members will work across multiple initiatives, supporting existing chatbot and virtual agent applications while also developing new AI-driven solutions.
Duties
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain chatbot and virtual agent solutions built on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and support conversational AI applications using Google Dialogflow and related technologies.
- Develop and implement Generative AI agents and solutions leveraging modern AI frameworks and services.
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and prompt engineering strategies.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and JavaScript.
- Support existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain high-quality, readable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation and CI/CD processes using Terraform and Git-based repositories.

Requirements
- This is an 100% Onsite
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing chatbots or conversational AI solutions using Google Dialogflow or similar technologies.
- Experience building Generative AI applications and AI agents.
- Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and implementations.
- Experience with prompt engineering and prompt optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in Python application development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript development for both frontend and backend applications.
- Experience using source control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Experience developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform.
- Ability to write and maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and customers.
- Google Cloud certifications.
- Experience with Dialogflow CX, Conversational Agents, and Playbooks.
- Experience working with various Generative AI platforms and services.
- Machine Learning or AI model development experience.
- Experience with Looker reporting and LookML.
- Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
