Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) / Quality Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team within an Agile Release Train (ART). This role focuses on driving quality engineering excellence through test automation, strategic test planning, and continuous improvement of testing practices.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in automation frameworks, API and backend testing, and CI/CD practices, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within Agile teams and ARTs to drive quality engineering initiatives
• Own and implement test strategy, test planning, and execution
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks
• Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts
• Develop end-to-end test coverage across UI (web/mobile) and APIs
• Perform exploratory testing and identify edge cases
• Author and manage test cases in test management tools
• Reproduce defects, analyze root causes, and work with teams to resolve issues quickly
• Ensure adherence to quality governance standards and best practices
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience as an SDET or Quality Engineer
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• Extensive experience in API and backend testing (Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured)
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and UI automation
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with GitHub or similar version control systems
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD/CT pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)
• Understanding of web technologies (HTTP, proxies, caching)
• Experience working in cloud environments
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
