Required Qualifications

Experience

10+ years of experience in Mainframe Systems Automation and z/OS Operations.
Expert-level experience with IBM System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS), including:

Administration
Configuration
Policy Development
Resource Automation
Dependency Modeling
SA Policy Database Maintenance

Advanced hands-on REXX Programming experience with proven development of enterprise automation solutions.
Strong experience with IBM NetView, including automation tables, message automation, command lists, PIPEs, and event processing.
Extensive experience supporting and automating z/OS environments.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of:

z/OS
JCL
TSO/ISPF
SDSF
JES2/JES3
Parallel Sysplex

Experience automating and supporting middleware platforms including:

CICS
Db2
IMS
MQ Series
TCP/IP

Experience with Mainframe Operations, Monitoring, and Event Management.
Familiarity with high-availability and disaster recovery automation strategies.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CICS Automation including availability monitoring, restart, recovery, and health management.
Experience with IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS/TWS/ZWS) and workload automation processes.
Experience with z/OS UNIX System Services (USS/OMVS) and shell scripting.
Experience integrating mainframe automation with enterprise monitoring solutions.
Experience with:

IBM OMEGAMON
ServiceNow
Moogsoft

Experience supporting IBM zSeries, UNIX, and Windows infrastructure environments.
Knowledge of GDPS and disaster recovery automation.
Experience with SMP/E maintenance and z/OS system programming concepts.
Familiarity with Ansible, REST APIs, and Mainframe Modernization technologies.
