Summary

OutSystems & Alteryx Developer Lead

Location: Menlo Park, CA (Hybrid - 1 week onsite every month)

Employment Type: Contract

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Lead OutSystems & Alteryx Developer to support the development of modern enterprise applications and data automation initiatives. This role will focus on delivering scalable low-code solutions, streamlining business processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making through advanced workflow automation and analytics.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in OutSystems application development and Alteryx-based data engineering solutions, while partnering with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality digital products in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 9+ years of hands-on experience in OutSystems development

• Strong expertise in developing Reactive Web and Mobile applications using OutSystems

• Proven experience with Alteryx Designer for data preparation, transformation, and analytics

• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and API integrations

• Experience working with REST and SOAP web services and integration patterns

• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise application ecosystems

• Exposure to cloud-native architectures and integration frameworks

• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical leadership

• Experience driving application modernization and process automation initiatives

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform, including Reactive Web and Mobile solutions

• Design, implement, and maintain automated data workflows and analytical processes using Alteryx Designer

• Build integrations with internal and external systems through APIs, web services, and database connectivity

• Work closely with business users, architects, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability through best development practices

• Participate in Agile planning sessions, sprint activities, code reviews, and release management processes

• Identify and resolve technical issues related to applications, integrations, and data processing workflows

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending enhancements to development standards and solution architecture

• Support testing, deployment, and production readiness activities across project lifecycles

Certifications Required:

• Any OutSystems Certification (either Associate or Professional Developer)

• Alteryx Certification required

NOTES: Along with the resume, please attach a write-up from the candidate on his experience with OutSystems Development and Reactive Web and Mobile application using OutSystems. Also, his experience using Alteryx Designer as a Low-code/No-code data and process automation tool.
