Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Website Content Strategist & Digital Writer to lead the development of high-quality website copy that reflects a consistent brand voice, aligns with organizational positioning, and adheres to web content standards and accessibility guidelines.
Responsibilities- Lead the creation of website content for assigned business segments, ensuring alignment with brand tone, digital guidelines, and ADA/WCAG accessibility standards.
- Gather input from multiple stakeholders and manage content through review and approval workflows to ensure timely publication.
- Apply design thinking and UX principles to page structure and content layout; collaborate with Experience Design teams to request new components or enhancements when needed.
- Support enterprise content governance by providing clear, actionable editorial feedback to maintain accuracy, relevance, and consistency across digital properties.
- Monitor content performance using analytics tools, customize dashboards, and identify opportunities for improvement based on KPIs.
- Optimize organic traffic and engagement by applying SEO best practices and partnering with SEO specialists to refine strategy.
- Conduct quarterly content audits to ensure quality, accuracy, and ongoing content maintenance.
Hiring Requirements- Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree where required).
- 5+ years of experience in a related field; OR 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience writing content for regulated industries and for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Hands-on experience with web content management systems.
- Familiarity or certifications in W3C/ADA compliance, SEO best practices, design thinking, and basic UX principles.
- A portfolio demonstrating past content challenges and solutions.
- Strong initiative and ability to self-lead in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day ExpectationsA significant portion of website traffic is driven by provider audiences. This role requires the ability to take complex content and structure it into clear, compelling, user-friendly narratives. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and help elevate content requests from simple task execution to strategic digital storytelling.
