.NET Developer – Claude, GitHub Copilot & SQL

Job Summary

We are looking for a strong .NET Developer with hands-on experience in C#, .NET/.NET Core, SQL Server, and modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain scalable applications, write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures, and leverage AI coding assistants to improve development productivity, code quality, testing, and troubleshooting.

The candidate should be comfortable working in an onsite development environment and collaborating with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and web applications.
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database scripts using SQL Server.
• Perform SQL query optimization, troubleshooting, indexing, and database performance tuning.
• Use Claude/Claude Code and GitHub Copilot as AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, documentation, and unit-test creation.
• Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Integrate AI-assisted development practices into existing SDLC and coding standards.
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement production fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Work closely with QA teams to resolve defects and support application testing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Use Git/GitHub for source control, branching, pull requests, and code collaboration.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments as required.
• Collaborate with technical leads, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional .NET/C# development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong SQL Server development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, CTEs, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience developing REST APIs/Web APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot for software development.
• Hands-on experience with Claude / Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants.
• Ability to effectively prompt, review, validate, and refine AI-generated code.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
