The tvOS Ecosystem team is seeking a passionate and inventive Software Engineer to build exciting features that elevates the Apple TV and HomePod experience. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Design, Frameworks, media playback, and Core OS teams, gaining invaluable insight into Apple's collaborative development process that delivers world class operating systems for all of our platforms. You'll have the opportunity to own significant features in critical areas of tvOS. You will be proposing, implementing, and presenting your ideas, directly shaping the Apple TV and HomePod experience and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the living room. You are a self-directed iOS Engineer who is prepared to take on system-level problems and drive full-product solutions, involving extended team members where needed. 3+ years experience with object-oriented programming language in a highly scalable environment\nExcellent Swift and Objective-C coding experience, including work with APIs, frameworks, and SDKs\nKeen attention to detail in building UI and end-user experiences, particularly for Apple platforms\nStrong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams that include engineers, designers, program managers, and stakeholders\nExperience debugging and optimizing code to maximize performance (such as memory issues, main thread hangs, etc.)\nAbility to analyze large features and implement practical solutions\nAptitude to independently learn new technologies\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent work experience\n

Experience maintaining large codebases with many contributors\nPrior experience with cross-process communication technologies\nPrior experience in Networking, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.\nDemonstrated experience writing code and optimizing performance in UIKit and SwiftUI
