Key Responsibilities

  • Lead application development efforts in a fast-paced, Agile environment, directly guiding Application Developers through bug fixes and feature enhancements.
  • Coordinate the technical roadmap in conjunction with the technical lead, analyst team, and architecture team, ensuring alignment with DCSA s ongoing technical roadmap for long-term project success.
  • Steward core architectural deliverables to be utilized and presented to the client, including addressing key security concerns, maintaining optimum system performance, generating performance metrics, and enforcing secure coding standards.
  • Generate, review, and maintain architectural documents and other technical artifacts that drive both new development efforts and ongoing application maintenance.
  • Serve as a primary technical liaison between the client, project team members, and project leadership, translating complex technical information into clear, actionable communication for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Maintain compliance with all security, testing, quality, and governance requirements appropriate to the environment and the nature of the deployment.
  • Coordinate across analytics, architecture, security, and testing teams to generate and track Agile features and user stories.
  • Logically troubleshoot issues, determine root causes, and present clear, concise recommended solutions.
  • Apply strong hands-on C# and Java engineering skills to guide implementation decisions and support the development team.

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
  • 10+ years of professional experience as an Application Architect.
  • 8+ years working on public sector/federal contracts and projects (US Federal, Higher Education, and/or State and Local Governments).
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a technical team lead.
  • 5+ years working in AWS or another cloud environment.
  • Strong Java and C# development skills.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot and Angular frameworks.
  • Strong experience with APIs and web services, including REST APIs and interface/enterprise service bus solutions (e.g., MuleSoft).
  • Experience with multi-tier application architectures (application layer, integration/abstraction layer, data layer).
  • Experience delivering software under the SAFe Agile methodology.

  • CompTIA A+
