Position: Senior Cloud Developer (AWS Lambda / Python / Terraform)

Location: Remote (Quarterly Travel to Dallas, TX) (Expenses Paid) (No PST Candidates)

Contract: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Developer with a strong Java development background who has transitioned into AWS cloud-native development using Python and Serverless technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Build serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and Python.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using API Gateway.
• Build event-driven applications using Kafka.
• Work with AWS Step Functions and CloudWatch.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

Required Skills:

✔ 12–15+ years of IT experience
✔ 10+ years of AWS Cloud development
✔ Python & AWS Lambda
✔ Terraform (IaC)
✔ API Gateway & API Development
✔ Kafka
✔ AWS CloudWatch
✔ AWS Step Functions
✔ System Design & Cloud Architecture
✔ Java development background with transition to AWS/Python
