UI/UX Developer IV

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an exciting opportunity in Downtown Houston for an experienced UI/UX Developer IV. This role sits onsite four days/week, with an opportunity to work remote on Fridays later. This is a one-year contract, with opportunity to extend. To be considered, you must include a working link to your portfolio.

Summary:
The main function of a UI/UX Designer is to design intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences that enhance usability and meet business goals. A typical UI/UX Designer is responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality interfaces. The Manager is seeking a candidate with 8+ years of UI/UX Designer experience, strong communication skills, and a high level of professionalism.

Job Responsibilities:
* Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions
* Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize user interfaces
* Design user flows and experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing
* Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design with project goals
* Apply design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across digital products
* Iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and evolving user needs

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field required
* 8-10 years of experience
* Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
* Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
* Ability to conduct user research and translate findings into actionable design solutions
* Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards
* Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail
* Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
